The Biedermanns, a family of German origin who settled in Polish lands in the 18th century. They became primarily famous as entrepreneurs in Lodz, where they ran a textile factory and were among the prominent figures in the development of the textile industry at the turn of the 20th century. Their history is linked not only to their industrial activities, but also to the dramatic events of World War II and the tragic fate of the company's last director, Bruno Otto. To learn more about it, play the video or audio above.
